Once you’ve sent through your booking form, Christina will respond within 1-2 business days via email to discuss availability and agree on a day and time for your application. You will then receive an invoice and will be required to pay a 50% non-refundable deposit to secure your booking. If payment is not made, no booking is secured. 

Bookings are confirmed upon payment of the deposit. The studio address, plus some pre-appointment instructions will then be sent to you.

You may pay the remaining balance prior to the appointment via bank transfer or can pay with correct cash on the day.

Deposits are non-refundable but can be transferred to a rescheduled appointment if at least 48 hours notice is given prior to the original appointment. If less than 48 hours notice is given, your appointment is non-transferable and the deposit payment is deemed a cancellation fee. 

If you do not show up to your appointment the deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable.

If you arrive more than 10mins late to your appointment, unfortunately your appointment will be cancelled as there will not be an adequate  amount of time to complete your application. Your deposit will be forfeited and is non-transferable.

Rescheduling your appointment is subject to Christina’s availability. Please get in touch with her to discuss booking a new date and time.

Appointments are held at the Glam Face studio in Garfield, however Christina can travel to surrounding areas within Cardinia shire. She also regularly frequents the Northern suburbs and can service Banyule council areas (Greensborough, Watsonia, Bundoora, Heidelberg ect). Travel will incur additional fees, which will be discussed upon your enquiry.

For group bookings, no reduction in the number of makeup applications are allowed after the quote is accepted. In the event where numbers are reduced, the deposit for those cancellations  will be forfeited. 

Get in touch to discuss additional makeup applications, changes in location or date and Christina will do her best to accommodate.

For safety and hygiene, please arrive with a clean and makeup-free face.

It is the clients responsibility to notify Christina of any skin conditions, allergies, or sensitivities prior to the appointment.

In no event shall Christina have any liability  for incidental, or consequential damages however characterised, for example, skin conditions, sensitive skin and eyes. Please do not attend your appointment if you are sick or carrying any contagious illness. If Christina has reason to believe you could have a contagious illness your appointment will be cancelled and deposit will be forfeited.

• Skin Preparation: Arrive with a clean, makeup-free face. Gently cleanse, exfoliate and moisturise your skin in the days leading up to the appointment to ensure smooth application and to help with longevity. Ensure lips are hydrated and gently exfoliated.

• Facial Hair Waxing: I recommend waxing/tidying up eyebrows & facial hair before your appointment for best results. I recommend doing so at least 3 days before to allow the hair to slightly regrow. If skin is freshly waxed in areas, and not in others, this can change the way the makeup grabs onto the face, causing unwanted texture and patchy application.

• Dermaplaning Facial Hair: This is a great treatment to do prior to your appointment to remove peach fuzz and dry skin. You can do this yourself at least 3 days before your appointment or if getting it professionally done, I recommend doing so at least 5 days before as sharper blades are used and penetrate the skin deeper than DIY blades and can cause makeup to not grip onto the skin.

• Avoid New Products: Avoid trying new skincare products close to your appointment to minimize the risk of adverse reactions.

• Fake tan: If you’re getting a tan done for the day, ensure only a light layer is applied to the face. Too much face tan can cause patchy makeup application.

• Notify of Allergies: Inform me of any skin allergies, conditions, or sensitivities before the appointment.

• Clothing on the day: I recommend wearing  something you can easily pull over your head or unzip so you don’t mess up the makeup when you get home. I also recommend wearing something with a similar neckline as your event outfit, or low neckline so I can easily match foundation to your chest colour.

Failure to follow these guidelines may affect the final results of your makeup application.

Christina may take photos or videos of the process and/or finished makeup for portfolio and social media marketing purposes.

If you do not wish to have your photos used, please notify the artist before your appointment.

Accepted payment methods are bank transfer or correct cash. Any outstanding balances must be settled on the day of appointment.
